Following her award recognition at the J-Collabo 6th Annual Exhibition in 2024, We’re excited to present a mini solo exhibition by Jori Honda, featuring her signature watercolor works blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with a unique softness and charm.

 

She was born in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan, and have been working as a commercial illustrator for over 40 years.

Although she have produced only a small number of original works, she have created hundreds of thousands of illustrations without my name attached to them.

After she began painting original pieces featuring motifs such as goldfish and mermaids, she started to feel a strong desire to create visual stories.

Currently, she works as a commercial illustrator, caricature artist, and also produce picture books and narrative-based artworks.
