Art Exhibition: "BEPPU BAMBOO" – Gifts from the Nature, Crafts for the Future

Two award-winning bamboo artists from Beppu visited New York for a cultural exchange. They focused on developing bamboo products made in New York and crafting a better future for the next generation.

Bamboo has been gaining much attention as a sustainable material. Beppu City, located in the southernmost island of Japan, is well known for having the highest number of hot springs, but is also known for its sophisticated bamboo craftsmanship.
