  • Honorary Juror – Dr. Miwako Tezuka, Associate Director, Reversible Destiny Foundation & Associate Curator, 2022 Hawai’i Triennale

• 2022 J-Collabo Board Members Award (Awarded to 3 artists)

  • 3 works selected by J-Collabo Board Members will be shown at J-Collabo in the latter half of 2022

• Regeneration exhibition 

  • This award comes with the opportunity to show a work at the “Regeneration” exhibition in the latter half of 2022, curated by the new Executive Director. **Please note the exhibiting artists must be participants in the AAME, but are free to submit other works for consideration in Regeneration. All details including the number of exhibiting artists and works will be communicated directly from the ED to the selected artists.

Opening reception and award ceremony: April 9, 2022 (We plan to live stream the event on J-Collabo IG live)

• 1 work per participant

• Approximate size: 24 x 36” (60.9 x 91.4 cm) Depth 4” (10 cm) Weight under 10lbs (5kg)

• For video and digital media, please note that we will only be able to show works with no sound on a loop with works from other participants unless the artist brings in their own equipment (each work 10min max).

• We are limited on pedestal availability but do have capacity for free standing objects. Please inquire for submission of sculptures and other 3D works.

(Please note J-Collabo will not cover any of the shipping costs to and from our venue. All works shipped will be mailed back to the sender, on their expense, in the same packaging it came in. We will have an open window for drop offs of the works on March 27 & 28 during building operation hours. Works that have been dropped off must be picked up at the end of the exhibition by the end of April.)
