Artist and Curator, Nelsena Burt-Spano is a native New Yorker from the Upper West Side, Chelsea, and Park Slope, Brooklyn. She paints and does assemblages using found objects, abundant color, text and texture.

In addition to being an artist, Nelsena had also had an advertising career, as a creative director and film director.
